My life and times

This weekend was somewhat historic for Paige and Koby. Not only did they travel the farthest from home in their almost 2 years of life but they left the province for the first time. They didn't travel very far into Quebec but they were there nonetheless. As i mentioned in the previous entry we all went to Cornwall as Barry and I had a wedding to attend and that is where Catherine (now known as Seesaw courtesy of Paige) picked them up and took them across the border to her house in Gatineau....for those of you who don't know where that is, it is right across the river from Ottawa and is amalgamated with Hull. Barry and I traveled to Gatineau later that evening after the wedding following very well written out directions from Catherine though i would like to mention that if at any time you are travelling that route you are on the 417 for WAY more than 10 minutes once you get off the 138!!!!! It is NOT 10 minutes like Catherine said it would be.
We had a very good weekend. Paige and Koby were very good in the car and they had a great time the whole weekend.

My life and times

This weekend Barry, the kids and I are going to Catherine's for a visit. We have a wedding to go to in Cornwall Friday night and Catherine being the lovely person that she is (I am being forced to say that) has graciously offered to take the kids back to her house in Gatineau while we attend the wedding and then we will drive up afterwards. This is going to be the furthest from home that Paige and Koby have ever been and the first time that they will be visiting another province. Catherine will be having hosting her own house warming party or so that is what she "says" the party is about but I know that really the party is for me since I am such a wonderful person!! She has wanted me to come visit her for some time and this is the only way she feels she can get me there. She is so desperate for my friendship. Ha ha....
We are very excited about going.
